Why did you choose the Neon platform?: lol, because I could not afford an eclipse. I blew up the motor in my car and needed a new car asap. I remembered taking my drivers ed in a Neon and liked the power of the car. I decided to go with the Neon, but the only model I could afford was the base. After sticking with it for a while, I was becoming more interested in owning an R/T. The style and power from the R/T and the community that comes with owning a Neon is what made choose to stick with it. It is always nice to meet another Neon owner; it is a common bond we all share. It's like that Jeep thing... You just wouldn't understand. When did you purchase your Neon?: 1999 Favorite Mod you did to your Neon?: Hard to say, but I have would have to go with the turbo. The motor build is a close second, followed by the custom leather seats, and power windows. Worse Mod you ever did?: (and did you replace it? and if so with what?) Adding a gold pin stripe around the car, lol. Future Mods: Big brake conversion (in the process now with sing piston, later will be wildwood 4 piston) , Viper front leather racing seats, bigger custom turbo made turbo and manifold, rear disk conversion, monitor mounted in the trunk, NOS inner cooler sprayer, and some accent light and strobes hidden thought the car. Special Thanks: Gary Murphy, PIAA, ACC, Howell Automotive.
